Cocktail Recipes

Moxie Mule is a sweet, bianco style vermouth, incredibly versatile depending on the spirit you mix it with. It’s delicious served straight over ice, as a spritz or as a dynamic addition to a cocktail. Moxie Mule has high tasting notes of vanilla, citrus and jasmine. Perfect for any season depending on how you use it! Below is a list of approachable cocktails for you to make at home.

Gin:

Highlights vanilla flavors, floral notes of white jasmine, it might remind you of orange creamsicles

Vodka:

Highlights the rich sweet notes of calendula and licorice root, white flower jasmine, and bright citrus flavors.

Reverse Martini

  • 2.5 oz. of Moxie Mule vermouth

  • 1 oz. of dry london gin or vodka

  • Lemon twist

  • Stirred with ice, strained and served up in a martini glass

Vesper

  • 1.5 oz. of dry gin

  • 1.5 oz. of Moxie Mule vermouth

  • 1 oz. of vodka

  • Stirred with ice, strained and served up in a martini glass

Spanish 69

  • 1.5 oz. of Moxie Mule vermouth

  • ½ oz. of gin

  • Topped with cava

  • Served in a coup or champagne glass

Pink Negroni

  • 1 oz. of a floral botanical gin (such as Hendrick’s)

  • 1 oz. of Moxie Mule vermouth

  • 1 oz. of Campari

  • Stirred with ice, strained and served over a large rock or up 

Dirty Lorenzo

  • 1 oz. of dry gin

  • 1 oz. of Moxie Mule vermouth

  • ½ oz. of fresh lemon or lime juice

  • 2 oz.  of dry tonic

  •  ½ oz. of Olive Brine

  • Shake gin, vermouth and lime juice, strain into rocks glass filled with ice and top with tonic and castelvetrano olives to taste

Bourbon:

Highlights warm vanilla, citrus, and toasted candied orange notes.

Reparations

  • 1.5 oz. Uncle Nearest Bourbon

  • 1.5 oz. Moxie Mule vermouth

  • 5 dashes of peach bitters

  • ½ oz. of honey syrup

  • 1 oz. of lemon juice  

  • Shake and strain onto rocks and top with soda water

Seattle Subway

  • 1.5 oz. of bourbon or rye

  • 1.5 oz. of Moxie Mule vermouth

  • 3 drops of black lemon bitters, orange or agnaster bitters (or your fav bitters)

  • Stirred with ice, strained and served up

Rum:

Highlights tastes of licorice root, orange, golden raisin and vanilla

Buffalo Soldier

  • 1.5 oz. of Clairin Rum or Jamaican Overproof White Rum

  • 1.5 oz. of Moxie Mule vermouth

  • ¾ oz. of lime juice

  • ½ oz. of coconut cream

  • 5 dashes Peychaud bitters

  • Shaken and served on the rocks

 

Mama Wanna

  • 1.5 oz. Moxie Mule bianco vermouth

  • 1 oz. Ten To One White Rum

  • 1 oz. Aperol 

 

Oasis Places

  • 1.5 oz. Moxie Mule  bianco vermouth

  • 1 oz. Ten to One Dark Rum

  • 2 oz. basil pineapple juice

  • ¾ oz. Falernum 

  • ½ oz. Fresh Lime Juice   

  • 3 Dashes of Tiki bitters

LOW ABV OPTIONS:

Feelin’ Spritzy

  • Serve me 60/40 with your sparkling water or soda of choice

  • Garnish with herbs or fruit of your choice if available

 

Italian Vacay

  • 1.5 oz. of Moxie Mule vermouth

  • ½ oz. of limoncello

  • Topped with Cava

  • Serve it up!

 

Lola's Laugh 

  • 1 oz. of Moxie Mule vermouth

  • ½ oz. limoncello

  • Topped with soda water in a Collins glass over ice

 

Rosy Cheeks

  • 2 oz. of Moxie Mule Vermouth

  • Top the champagne glass with rose bubbles

 

Sicilian Sunrise

  • 2 oz. of Moxie Mule vermouth

  • 2 oz. blood orange 

  • ¾ ounce simple syrup

  • Top Soda with soda water and serve over ice
